The purchase of KinetIT is part of Babel's inorganic growth strategy, which in recent years has made important acquisitions, such as the Mexican company Ironbit, the professional services unit in Spain of the German multinational Software AG, the company specialised in cybersecurity, Ingenia, and the Costa Rican company Grupo Babel. The new operation is a further step in the strategic plan defined by the company and called Plan Marte 2025, which is Babel's roadmap for the coming years, in which it aims to achieve a turnover of 300 million euros and an EBITDA of 36 million euros by the end of 2025. During the 2023 financial year, the consultancy firm achieved a turnover of 180 million euros, with a workforce of approximately 3,100 professionals, achieving an EBITDA of more than 11.5% of sales.
