Babel has appointed Roberto Delgado as its new Director of International Operations, a role in which his primary objective will be to drive and consolidate the company’s growth outside Spain, particularly in Latin America.
Roberto Delgado brings extensive experience in the consulting sector and a strong international track record, developed at leading firms. His appointment will bring this expertise to the management of Babel’s international operations at a time when the company is experiencing strong growth beyond its home market.
The appointment is part of Babel’s strategy to continue increasing the contribution of its international business through an organic, profitable and sustainable growth model. To achieve this, the company aims to strengthen its execution capabilities and capitalize on the opportunities created by the growing demand for technology and digital transformation services.
Babel’s international business has performed very positively throughout 2026. This year, the company is recording purely organic growth of more than 20% outside Spain, with growth exceeding this level in Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia. Building on this momentum, Babel aims to further accelerate its development in Latin America and consolidate an increasingly global and diversified organization, capable of sharing capabilities and expertise across its different operations.
“Our ambition is for Babel to continue delivering sustained double-digit growth across all the markets in which we operate. The growth we are experiencing outside Spain demonstrates that we have a competitive value proposition and the ability to scale internationally. Roberto’s appointment will enable us to strengthen our operational capabilities and accelerate this process,” explains Tony Olivo, CEO of Babel.
In his new role, Roberto Delgado will work alongside the leadership teams across Babel’s different geographies to drive business development, strengthen operational efficiency and foster greater international coordination. His experience in global consulting environments will also help transfer best practices across the company’s different operations and strengthen Babel’s ability to support clients with increasingly international needs.
The new International Operations function will also play a key role in scaling Babel’s operating model, ensuring that increased activity maintains the levels of quality, efficiency and profitability that form part of the company’s strategic objectives.
“Babel is at a particularly exciting stage in its international development, with significant growth potential in the markets where it already operates. I am approaching this new chapter with the goal of helping to accelerate that growth by leveraging the capabilities and talent of the entire organization, while always maintaining a strong focus on our clients,” says Roberto Delgado, Director of International Operations at Babel.
An increasingly international company
Roberto Delgado’s appointment is part of Babel’s growth strategy, which combines the organic development of its operations with the ambition to build a company with greater scale and a stronger international presence.
The strong growth recorded in markets such as Mexico and Costa Rica highlights the potential of this strategy and Babel’s ability to compete outside Spain while supporting leading clients in their respective markets. Over the coming years, the company will continue to strengthen its international business with the aim of achieving greater scale, diversifying its business and consolidating its position as a global technology partner for its clients, combining organic development with new opportunities for inorganic growth.
