Tony Olivo, CEO of Babel, participates in the ICF 7 Top Conference

Tony Olivo, CEO of Babel, has participated in the prestigious ICF 7 Top Conference, an international event that brings together leaders from the public and private sectors with the aim of promoting technological innovation for the development of smart and sustainable cities.

In addition, during the event, the seven smartest communities in the world in 2025 will be announced, selected by the Intelligent Community Forum for their leadership in digital transformation towards a more connected and responsible future.

During the conference, Tony Olivo took part in the round table discussion on Smart Government – Privacy and Security, alongside leading professionals such as Inés Bermejo, General Manager of HP Iberia; Alejandro Las Heras, CEO of the Cybersecurity Agency of the Community of Madrid; Jaime de Jaraiz, CEO of LG Electronics Spain; Juan Parra, Managing Director for Europe at DXC Technology; and Paco Salcedo, President of Microsoft Spain.

The debate focused on the implementation of smart technologies in public management, with a special focus on privacy protection, transparency and citizen trust.

In this context, Tony Olivo stressed the importance of balancing innovation, security and data protection from the very conception of digital solutions:

‘Privacy and security must always go hand in hand with technological progress. It is essential to design digital solutions that are intuitive for the user and, at the same time, robust in terms of data protection and information security. Only in this way can we ensure that technology contributes in a balanced way to the well-being of people and society.’

At Babel, we work every day to develop technological solutions that not only optimise processes and services, but also guarantee more secure, reliable and privacy-friendly digital environments. This is a collective challenge that requires collaboration, long-term vision and commitment from all players in the digital ecosystem.

We would like to thank the Intelligent Community Forum, the Las Rozas de Madrid City Council and Las Rozas Innova for t
