Data Fabric

For Babel, Data Fabric is an approach to data architecture aimed at optimising access to distributed environments and models by organising them intelligently and coherently, and orchestrating them for delivery in self-service format to users or applications.

Through an approach promoted by Babel’s Data practice, the use of this Data Fabric consumption model provides the organisation with the ability to aggregate data from various sources under a single cloud/repository, allowing it to manage large and complex volumes of data in constantly changing, growing and distributed processing scenarios.

This approach enables the Data Fabrics developed by Babel to offer a number of significant advantages by creating simplified integrations, providing a single point of access to all data sources. API abstraction makes it possible to leverage data from different systems without worrying about the originating sources. The creation of a virtualised data layer on a centralised platform helps to eliminate integration projects by optimising investments, reducing costs and eliminating errors.

Implementing a Data Fabric consumption model with Babel makes the commercialization of products quicker and easier since the applications join data sources in an agile way, accelerating the integration process and optimizing the development of new applications with access to multiple data sources. By eliminating the need for custom integration projects, Babel Data Fabric models reduce costs and maintenance over time by providing a secure, centralised data layer.
