Interview with David Hurtado, Innovation Lead at Microsoft Spain.
We speak with David Hurtado, Head of Innovation at Microsoft Spain, about how artificial intelligence is redefining the present and projecting a future where technology becomes an everyday ally for both people and companies. In a context of constant acceleration, the adoption of generative AI-based solutions is no longer optional, but a fundamental part of organizational evolution.
The conversation focuses on the rise of intelligent agents, capable of autonomously executing tasks and transforming the relationship between humans and digital systems. Microsoft’s vision is based on an open and modular ecosystem: from low-code solutions like CoPilot Studio to advanced infrastructures like Azure AI Foundry. But for all of this to work, it is essential to modernize applications and make them accessible through APIs, preparing the ground for seamless interaction between humans and machines.
Beyond the immediate present, David points to the horizon of quantum computing as the next major disruption. Still in its early stages, this technology is shaping up to be the next leap in processing capacity, with a transformational potential comparable to that of today’s artificial intelligence.
The future will be built through collaboration and shared knowledge — a future in which speaking to technology will no longer be a metaphor, but part of everyday life.
