Babel has formalized its membership in the Ecosystem of the National Green Algorithms Program (PNAV), a key initiative promoted by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service. This step positions the company as a crucial player in the national effort to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) aligned with the goals of the ecological transition.
Babel’s participation in the PNAV is part of the company’s vision to integrate technological development with sustainability. The Program aims to create a public–private collaboration environment to accelerate the development of responsible solutions and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices within the sector.
Commitments to Leadership and Standardization
As an active member, Babel takes on a leadership role that includes direct contributions to sector-wide standardization. The company is committed to collaborating in research on algorithms that promote sustainability, and it will take part in various PNAV ecosystem activities, including technical sessions, webinars, and working groups focused on creating technological solutions with positive impact.
Additionally, Babel will participate actively in the network of members—comprising universities, research centers, and industrial organizations—to exchange progress and best practices in sustainable AI, and will promote the adoption of the solutions and methodologies developed by the PNAV.
“Joining the PNAV is a decisive step that certifies our commitment to the responsible application of technology. We want to share how we are generating value for our clients through solutions that embed Artificial Intelligence in a sustainable way and aligned with the country’s environmental goals,” says Isabel Fernández, Director of Exponential Technologies at Babel. “We are ready to collaborate with the national ecosystem in the task of defining the standards that will allow Spain to position itself as a global benchmark in green AI.”
With this alliance, Babel strengthens its leadership, actively contributing to the national strategy for digitalization and ecological transition. To learn more about our sustainability strategy, our initiatives, and the impact of this collaboration, visit:
