Babel, chosen by AMTEGA to strengthen cybersecurity in Galician public administrations

Babel, a Spanish technology multinational specialising in digital transformation solutions, announces that it has been awarded a framework agreement by the Agency for Technological Modernisation of Galicia (AMTEGA) to provide consulting and support services in regulatory compliance, in order to strengthen the cybersecurity of public administrations and statutory bodies in Galicia.

The agreement, which will have a duration of two years, extendable, and a value of €4,312,440, is intended to be extended, through derivative contracts, to all departments of the General Administration of Galicia, as well as to Galician town councils, the four provincial councils and universities in the region.

Higher cybersecurity standards for the Galician public administration and protection of its citizens’ data

Babel provides, through a team of highly experienced and certified professionals, both in person and remotely, a regulatory compliance support service to improve security in the various existing regulatory areas. In the field of information security, in particular, in the areas of the National Security Scheme (ENS), the General Data Protection Regulation and the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights, as well as NIS2 and its transposition into Spanish law and other security regulations applicable to public administrations.
