Orange has a semi-automated solution in Tableau for the generation and distribution of dashboards within the O&M area. We were given the opportunity to migrate the tool used in the BI environment and to review the definition and calculation of business metrics and key indicators in search for process optimisation and data enhancement.
To implement Qlik Sense as a benchmark solution in the work teams of the processes involved to provide regular reporting with analytical functions.
The main objectives were data analysis, optimisation and automation of information loads in order to reduce process completion times, all through simple interaction with data thanks to the use of intuitive, interactive dashboards.
Focusing on business knowledge and thorough analysis of information
Prior to the implementation of the solution, sessions were held with the work teams in order to fully understand the main indicators of their associated processes. Subsequently, the different available data sources were consolidated and the quality of the data was carefully analysed. Once this was complete, dashboards were designed and created with the necessary views so that the department could easily analyse the information contained and make decisions in an agile manner based on the data. Finally, training sessions were held in demo mode with the work teams to explain both the structure and the use of the applications created in Qlik Sense.

Qlik Sense is currently the BI platform used in the area for reporting change management and build to run processes
